EXECUTION
- For installation in pipework to protect containers and plant components against stable detonations of flammable liquids and gases
- Tested and approved as a type 4 detonation flame arrester
- Can be used for all substances of explosion groups IIA1 to IIA with a standard gap width (MESG) > 0.9 mm
- Acting on both sides for a maximum operating pressure of 1.2 bar abs. and a maximum operating temperature of 60 °C
- Equipped with one or two thermal sensors (PT 100), protection is also provided against a brief fire from one or two sides
- The detonation flame arrester can be installed in both horizontal and vertical pipes
- When operating with only one thermal sensor, this must be installed on the side of the fitting from which a fire is expected
